9. Kanchan Choudhary Bhattacharya
Kanchan was the IPS officer during the period 1973 to 2007 was the first female IPS Officer to become the Director General of Police.
10. Vimla Mehra
Vimla is an IPS officer and she is the second officer after Kiran Bedi who has headed Tihar Jail as Director General in the year 2012.
