From a long time the Congress MP Lagadapati Rajagopal has been the champion of the Samaikyandhra movement and as part of that he has been colliding with TRS and other Telangana seekers. But recently he changed his tracks and started focusing on the TDP president Chandrababu.
The Jagayyapeta incident, the frequent statements from Lagadapati that he would ‘enlighten’ Babu on the unified Andhra Pradesh came across as a surprise. But there is a inner secret being revealed by the political analysts. They feel that Lagadapati’s plan is to demark Babu in front of the Seemandhra people.
During his Telangana tour of ‘Vastunna Mee Kosam’ Babu had given his acceptance for supporting separate Telangana resolution and it is heard that Lagadapati wants to take advantage of that and make Babu a villain in Seemandhra. So far, it is not sure how much this strategy is working because Babu has been getting a good response.
