South west monsoon is once again active in Telangana region, under the influence of active monsoon surge, many places in state is going to receive heavy rains.


Accordingto IMD, south west monsoon has once again revived in state of telangana, due to which heavy rains are going to batter most parts of state for next 3-4 days starting from Sunday. On sunday, few places like rajendra nagar, chanda nagar along with some adjoining areas received light to moderate rains. These short spells of rains helped bringing down the temperatures to comfort level in the city.


IMD hyderabad branch, has warned that districts like adilabad, Nizamabad, komaram bheem and peddapalli will receive heavy rains, till 19 of this month. These rains are attributed to a low pressure which lies on northwest Madhya Pradesh and adjoining state of Rajasthan, along with cyclonic circulation on north Tamil nadu.


Currently Telangana is deficit by just 3 percent, the upcoming bouts of rains will help to bring down the deficiency to some extent. Withdrawal of SW monsoon will start soon, starting from state of Rajasthan.
