DMK rule and Power Cut seems to be a never-ending love story always. 10 years ago, when Late cm Karunanidhi ruled tamil Nadu, the state faced nearly 16 hours of power shutdown every day and Arcot Veerasamy was the electricity minister at that time. Due to that particular reason, DMK was unable to get back the throne for nearly 10 long years and now they are back on the throne, and once again the power cut days are back. 


Regarding this regular power cut situation, EB minister Senthil balaji who met the press said the power cuts are happening due to Squirrels as they run along the wires and the ADMK government never took any steps to rectify the paths for the past two years. As soon as he made such a statement, lots of cartoons, trolls, and memes have gone viral on social media platforms regarding power cuts and squirrels. 


Even some of the hashtags called minister Senthil balaji as Anil (Squirrel) Balaji. But, EB minister Senthil balaji said the opposition parties and the meme creators to get some basic knowledge by reading how electrical disruptions happen due to Squirrels by googling some basic data before trolling his speech.
