The helicopter crash took place near Wardi village, a part of the Satpura mountain ranges, around 4 pm. The Training school chopper crashed by killing the pilot on the spot. 


A PILOT was killed and another suffered a severe injury after their helicopter crashed into a field in Maharashtra's Jalgaon. The chopper was scheduled to return in two and a half hours after traveling 200 nautical miles.


Two trainees, including a woman trainee, were flying on board when it crashed around in the evening, the locals said. The injured woman trainee had been rushed to a nearby local hospital, sources said.


The rescue men, police, and the local authorities were called to a report on the spot. Crews upon arrival found the aircraft had crashed into the field and sustained serious damage.


 The training helicopter belonged to the NMIMS Academy of Aviation. Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, Union minister of Civil Aviation expressed his shock and informed an investigation team to rush to the site. The procedural error made during a maneuver led to the chopper crash.


Unfortunately, the flight instructor died in the crash, the accompanying trainee was severely injured. He also expressed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.
