On Teacher's day, telangana Finance minister harish rao showered gifts on private teachers. minister harish rao spoke very nicely about the greatness of the Gurus. He also mentioned the hardships they are facing at present. During the celebration, Sarvepalli radhakrishna was first paid homage at the event with garlands. The teachers were then honoured. Corona said the government has stood by teachers even during difficult times.


Speaking on the occasion, harish rao said that september 5 was the Sarvepalli radhakrishna Jayanti Guru Pujotsavam that reminded everyone. He said that only teachers are respected after parents. harish rao said that education is not only for a job. It is a state of high honour. Giving priority to teachers, teachers have been appointed teachers in the legislatures.


Private teachers are the major group of people who are highly affected because of the corona. Harish said the trs government's spending on education in telangana was much higher than in other states. He said that in the coming days, double bedroom houses will be given to eligible private teachers in the huzurabad constituency. He said private teachers would be made partners in government welfare schemes. 


Chief minister KCR said that steps have been taken to strengthen the education and medical system. He said the government is making efforts to set up government medical colleges in every district. With the imposition of the lockdown in march last year, it is known that the situation of private teachers and other staff working in private educational institutions has become much worse. 


With the loss of employment, many have taken to the roads to support their families. We saw some teachers setting up vegetable shops, tea stalls, tiffin centres. Some even went to work as labourers. However, the schools, which started in february this year, were closed again for a few days due to the increase in corona cases.
