The governor of meghalaya passed critical controversial claims of the Central Government. meghalaya governor Satyapal Malik has stated that if the bjp does not accept the demands of farmers campaigning for the repeal of three agricultural laws, it will lose power in the May 5 state assembly elections.

The bjp in Central india Since november of last year, millions of farmers in Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and delhi have been protesting the Government's three new agricultural legislation. More than 100 farmers were slain as a result of the protest. In conversations with farmers' unions, the central government has said explicitly that agricultural regulations cannot be repealed and that they can only be changed if required. 

Farmers are sure that repealing agricultural legislation is the only way to solve the problem. In this context, meghalaya governor Satyapal Malik said at an event in Rajasthan: Farmers have been fighting the three agricultural legislation in a series of battles. 

Farmers have demanded that the three agricultural laws be repealed, and the central government should oblige. Otherwise, the bjp will lose all five state assembly elections, including those in Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, and Uttarakhand, and will lose power.
