Why do they blame Hindus? Are Hindus the only reason behind Pollution? Is crackers the only reason behind Pollution?
During religious festivals such as Christmas, english New Year, Good Friday, easter Sunday, Bakri-Eid, and Ramadan, people of all faiths and denominations come together to greet our Christian and Islamic brothers and sisters. Greetings like this are admirable good deed that brings about religious harmony.
However, if it is a Hindu festival [New Year, Shivratri, Deepavali, Gokulashtami, Pillaiyar Chaturthi, etc.] then there is a big argument as to why it should not be celebrated.
These arguments do not come from non-Hindu religions. Those who claim to be atheists and some who claim to be secular among Hindus do so.
Let alone the fact that there is freedom of speech to do so. But what do they accomplish by doing so - rather than harassing the minds of the majority of Hindus [whether he is a Saiva, a Vaishnava, a Sakta, a Murugan worshiper, or whoever identifies himself]? What is the benefit to them?
If celebrating the festival is blind faith, then these tigers should oppose all religious festivals. Because all festivals are based on a belief in something. No, if festivals are ignorant, it is human nature to leave those who celebrate them alone and not to celebrate them.
It is human nature not to act in a way that spoils the happiness of others, especially Hindus, even if there is no hope. The reason for this, we see, is the patience of the Hindus - who, no matter who insults them, turn away from the admonition that "it is moral to move as far as the eye of the beholder".
Let's think for a moment and If we look at whether these people, who insult Hindu festivals, have the courage to insult other religions' festivals, the answer is a resounding "No".
Because these chatterboxes were mellow before other religions. They have that much rationality. The chatterboxes know full well that if they play there, it will react.
So at that time during the feasts of our Christian and Islamic brethren, they not only greet us - but also attend the festivals - and glorify the purpose of those festivals, these cowards!
The gentle cow will not hesitate to use it if at some point she realizes that her horns are for self-defence. It is humane to greet ordinary Hindus with that kindness, even if they do not wish to attend, all festivals, without pushing ordinary Hindus to that position.
