It has been reported that the cabinet Committee has recommended that the winter session be held from the 29th to the 23rd of December.

The parliamentary winter session was not held last year due to the spread of the corona epidemic. The budget meeting and the spring session were held following Corona guidelines. However, the days of the meeting were shortened due to the Corona threat. 

 

It has been decided to hold this year’s winter meeting series following the Corona guidelines. 


In this context, it has been reported that the cabinet Committee on Parliamentary Affairs has recommended that the believer hold the winter session of parliament from the 29th to the 23rd of December. A total of 20 sessions are expected to take place.


It has been suggested that when both the lok sabha and the State Legislatures function simultaneously, members should follow the social gap.


Five states, including Uttarakhand, punjab and Uttar Pradesh, are set to go to the polls next year. The winter session is expected to be crucial as the five state legislative elections are seen as a preview for the 2024 lok sabha elections. The central government has decided to pass key bills at this meeting. At the same time, the opposition parties are working on key decisions to raise.
