Russia warns of a nuclear attack and destructive??
Russian Foreign minister Sergey Lavrov warned on wednesday that if the Third World war happens it will be "nuclear and destructive". His warning comes amid rising tensions with the West over Moscow's ongoing major military operation against Ukraine.
According to Russia's state news agency, Lavrov said in an interview, "World war III will be a devastating nuclear war." At the same time, Lavrov emphasized US President Joe Biden's remarks that World war III would be an alternative to Washington's tough sanctions against Moscow.

Lavrov said russia was prepared for sanctions imposed against it but was surprised that the action affected players and journalists. Referring to the sanctions imposed by Western countries, he said, "We were prepared for the sanctions, but did not expect that they would affect sportsmen, intellectuals, actors and journalists."
US President Joe Biden on tuesday night accused his Russian counterpart of waging a "pre-planned and unprovoked" war against Ukraine.
Along with the european union, the US has also banned Russian aircraft from passing through its airspace due to the invasion of Ukraine. The Qatar-based news channel reported that Lavrov said the special operation against ukraine was aimed at preventing Kyiv from acquiring nuclear weapons.
"The purpose of the military operation is to disarm Ukraine. Lavrov said that russia is ready for the second round of talks, but ukraine is delaying the process on the instructions of the US.
