Putin seeks written assurances on Ukraine

Earlier, after talks with Putin, French President Emmanuel Macron had said that the worst was yet to come in Ukraine. Even then the talks did not yield any concrete result. Putin wants a written assurance of not going to NATO with the complete disarmament of Ukraine. Ukraine's President Zelensky has his terms on which he is also adamant. This is the reason that the exercise of a reconciliation agreement between russia and ukraine has not been successful.
