With the demand to include Sasikala in the AIADMK, Sasikala is touring districts including salem and Tanjore to meet the volunteers.

Sasikala in the AIADMK?

After Jayalalithaa's demise, the AIADMK split into two due to a split in the AIADMK. The AIADMK has lost all subsequent elections. Therefore, a section of the AIADMK has been blaming the dual leadership for this failure and demanding that Sasikala be made the leader of the AIADMK.

In support of this, AIADMK coordinator O. Panneer passed the resolution at a meeting held in the presence of Selvam. Due to this, O. Panneer Selvam's brother O. raja was expelled from the party for meeting Sasikala during the AIADMK riots. The shocked supremacists are now keeping quiet.

Sasikala going into Salem

In this context, Sasikala toured the southern districts including Thoothukudi last week and met the volunteers. Then Anna, MGR. jayalalithaa paid homage to the idol by wearing an evening gown.

A large number of volunteers then greeted Sasikala with the AIADMK flag. On this occasion Sasikala will go to Vilar village in thanjavur on the 20th to pay homage to her husband M. Natarajan at his memorial place.

Following this he starts his second phase tour from Tanjore. AIADMK co-ordinator Edappadi Palanisamy's first district will be Salem. The AIADMK lost 10 seats in the 11-member salem district after losing most of the seats in the last assembly elections.

In this situation, Sasikala, who has completed the first phase of his Southern district tour, will go to salem, the Kongu District. Sasikala is said to be going to various places in salem including Edappadi, Mettur, to meet AIADMK executives. The tour is said to be set up to meet and talk to volunteers regularly.

Meeting of district Secretaries soon

Since salem is the fort of Edappadi Palanisamy, will the volunteers welcome Sasikala into the area? There is an expectation among AIADMK executives that they will protest or not.

It has been reported that the AIADMK district secretaries will meet soon to decide on the current problems in the AIADMK. Political critics say the meeting is likely to feature a heated debate.
