Rajasthan: home minister amit shah to visit jaipur today, and will discuss internal security with CMs of eight states


The meeting of the North Council will be held under the chairmanship of Shah. In which chief minister and Lieutenant governor of eight states including chief minister Gehlot will participate.


Home minister amit shah reached jaipur on a one-day visit on Saturday. The home minister will participate in the meeting of the North Zonal Council. Along with this, Shah will discuss with the rajasthan bjp leaders the preparations for the upcoming assembly elections, the presidential election, the situation in the tribal area, and the issues of the party.

According to media reports, rajasthan bjp state president Satish Poonia arrived at jaipur airport to receive amit Shah. amit shah will meet state bjp leaders at the bjp headquarters from 3 pm to 5 pm.

The meeting of the North Zonal Council will be held under the chairmanship of amit Shah. There will be a special discussion about internal security in this. chief minister Ashok Gehlot including Chief Ministers and Lieutenant Governors and representatives of eight states will participate in this meeting. CMs and Lieutenant Governors of rajasthan, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, national capital Delhi, Chandigarh, Jammu and Kashmir, and Ladakh will participate in the meeting to be held from around 11 am. 


On the other hand, Shah will not only take feedback from the government but also at the organizational level of his party regarding the rajasthan Eastern Canal project and the Kanhaiya Lal murder case in Udaipur. However, in the ERCP matter, the bjp is constantly on the back foot and the congress is being attacked. In such a situation, there can be an organizational discussion about what the party's line is going to be on this issue.
