Political fight erupts over Cheetah Project!!!


Prime minister narendra Modi today will release 8 cheetahs brought from namibia under 'Project Cheetah' in the Kuno National Park in Madhya Pradesh. But a day before this, the 'credit war' started regarding this. The congress on friday claimed that the proposal for 'Project Cheetah' was approved by the manmohan singh government. Congress has made a post from its official social media handle. In which the photo of the then Forest and Environment minister Jairam Ramesh has been shared.

Congress wrote in the post, the 'Project Cheetah' proposal was prepared in 2008-09. manmohan Singh's government approved it. In april 2010, the then Forest and Environment minister Jairam Ramesh visited the Cheetah Out Reach Center in Africa. After supreme court stay order, the ban was lifted in 2020. Now the cheetahs will come.

8 cheetahs to be released in Kuno National Park

On the occasion of the birthday of PM narendra Modi, 8 cheetahs will be released in the Kuno National Park of Sheopur, madhya pradesh on Saturday, september 17. These cheetahs have been imported from Namibia. Of these, five are males and three are females. Their age ranges from four to six years. It will happen after 70 years when cheetahs will be seen in India. They will be kept separately in quarantine cages for 30 days. It is worth noting that the government of india declared cheetahs extinct in 1952. On July 20 this year, the government of india signed an agreement with namibia to bring eight cheetahs under the Cheetah Reintroduction Program.
