Ahead of the Formula E race slated for Saturday, India's longest melodic floating fountains were launched at Hussain Sagar in hyderabad on Thursday. They added to the beauty of the gorgeous lake. The fountains that were timed to music left onlookers in Tank Bund and other areas near the lake in amazement. The audience are in amaze with the glowing lights at the night and the water spilling according to the tunes.

The state's tourism minister, srinivas Yadav, and the home minister, Mohammed mehmood Ali, officially opened the fountains, which heightened the anticipation for the coveted racing event that would take place on a circuit that had been particularly laid out along the lake's edge. The 180m long and 10m broad fountains, which were erected by the hyderabad Urban Development Authority (HUDA) at a cost of Rs 17.2 crore, were powerful enough to be felt by visitors to the popular hangout spot.

The inaugural ABB FIA Formula E World championship event in india will feature 11 teams and 22 drivers. Two renowned motorsport brands, McLaren and Maserati, will fight with Porsche, Jaguar, Nissan, and mahindra for the first time on the Formula E grid in hyderabad, according to the organisers.
