Nikki's parents have a big cloth store named Exotica international in South Carolina, which is also recognized at the international level. Nikki married Michael Haley in the year 1996. Nikki was elected the governor of South Carolina in the year 2011. At the age of just 39, Nikki created a new record by winning the election for the post of governor. She became the youngest governor of America, additionally became South Carolina's first woman governor. She was posted as the 29th US Ambassador to the United Nations from january 2017 to december 2018.
Started a career with a recycling company
Nikki earned her BS degree from Clemson university after studying at Orangeburg Preparatory School. After this, she did her first job at FCR Corporation, a recycling company. However, earlier in the year 1994, Nikki had joined her mother's company. In the year 1998, Nikki was included in the directors of the Orangeburg County Chamber of Commerce and in the year 2003, she became the director of the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce. Hailey took over the position of Treasurer of the National Association of women Business Honor in the year 2003 and she became its President the next year.
Reached the US parliament in 2005
Nikki reached the US parliament in the year 2005. The republican party sent him to the house of Representatives (the lower house of the US Parliament). Her term ended in the year 2010 and the next year she was elected the governor of South Carolina. In 2014, Nikki was included in the list of 50 Most Powerful Mothers by The Working Mother magazine.
