Northeast elections 2023: bjp back in power...

BJP has got absolute majority in Tripura and Nagaland, while it will participate in the hung government of Meghalaya. The bharatiya janata party (BJP) has been hovering around the majority mark of 30 since the morning in the state headed by cm Manik Saha, while it has opened the account in two northeastern states, Tripura and Nagaland. Voting started at 8 am today. But the party is also thinking about what to do if it doesn't win a plurality in Tripura.

The election results of the three northeastern states of Tripura, meghalaya and Nagaland do not have much impact on the politics of the country. All three are small states, in which there are not many seats in the Lok Sabha. Despite this, the whole country was watching these election results on Thursday. The reason for this is the formation of an alliance between the ideologically diametrically opposite congress and the Left parties in these elections, the Hindutva politics of the bjp going solo in the Christian-dominated meghalaya and mamata Banerjee's trinamool congress in Tripura and Meghalaya. Through this there was an attempt to enter the politics of the Northeast. The election results have now been declared. bjp has decided to retain its government in Tripura and Nagaland, while in meghalaya also it is again preparing to form coalition government with NPP.
