Why Rahul gandhi travel to UK and attack bjp harshly?

Rahul gandhi is on UK tour. From Cambridge university to india Insights programme, Rahul gandhi is constantly criticizing the narendra modi government at the Centre. He has said that indian democracy is in danger and constitutional institutions are being destroyed. The congress leader said in london on saturday that India's democratic structures are under barbaric attack and talks are on among opposition parties to unite around an alternative vision for the country.

Rahul gandhi also alleged that the recent tax survey action against BBC was an example of 'suppression of voice across the country'. He said that this is the reason why he undertook the Bharat Jodo yatra as an expression of raising his voice against the BJP's efforts to silence the country.

'Barbaric attack on India's democracy'

In the program 'India Insights' organized by the indian Journalists Association (IJA) in london, Rahul gandhi said, 'The visit has become necessary because our democratic structure is under barbaric attacks. The media, the institutional structure, the judiciary, the parliament are all under attack and we were finding it very difficult to put forth the issues of the people through the normal medium.
