Positive news for government employees!!!

After the restoration of the old pension scheme by the state governments in Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, punjab and Himachal Pradesh, the old pension scheme is becoming a big issue in the country. Meanwhile, taking a major decision today, Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman has announced a review regarding the current implemented pension scheme. Regarding the new National Pension Scheme, the Finance minister has constituted a special committee to review it. This is considered to be a great news for the government employees because through this review the possibilities of restoration of the old pension scheme can also be created.

Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman has said that the central government will review the new pension scheme. During the presentation of the Finance Bill in the Lok Sabha, a committee will be formed under the leadership of Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman as Finance Secretary and this committee will review the new pension scheme.

Can old pension scheme be considered?

However, now the Modi government says that it is not making any plan to re-implement the old pension scheme. This decision can also affect the decision of OPS of the states. Under the new pension scheme, the government will give minimum guaranteed return. Apart from this, about 40% is available on retirement in the New Pension Scheme.
