On Sunday, suspended YSRCP mla Undavalli sridevi said that Sajjala ramakrishna Reddy, the party general secretary and an adviser to the andhra pradesh government, has threatened her life. The mla spoke at a news conference in hyderabad the day after her office was allegedly damaged by members of the ysr congress party (YSRCP) in the Tadikonda seat of the guntur district. She specifically called out the chief minister Y. S. jagan Mohan reddy and Sajjala.

She claimed that Sajjala was a threat to her life and regretted that andhra pradesh was in a position where even a female mla had no security. She promised to file a complaint on Sajjala with the National scheduled caste Commission. Four MLAs, including sridevi, were expelled from the YSRCP on march 24 for casting their ballots for the telugu desam party (TDP) candidate in the Legislative Council elections using the mla quota.

The tdp was able to win one of the seven Council seats because to the cross-voting of four renegade MLAs from the governing party.
Speaking about a female mla, sridevi claimed that YSRCP leaders were levelling degrading accusations against her. She added that people who claim she sold herself short during the MLC elections will soon receive a gift in return.
