Following a dispute over sharing a seat in a TSRTC bus in Jagatial on tuesday afternoon, the Jagital police filed a complaint against sub-inspector Anil Kumar. While riding in a bus, Shaik Farha, a native of Jagital, got into a fight over a seat with a woman. The woman was employed as a sub-inspector at Jagital Rural police station and was later revealed to be Anil Kumar's wife.

The sub-inspector halted the bus as soon as it arrived in the town and boarded it together with a policeman. After an alleged altercation with Farha, the sub-inspector allegedly stole the phone she was using to record the conversation. He allegedly slapped the girl, removed her from the bus, and then abused her once more in front of onlookers.

"When the lady requested me to make room, I was riding in the bus with my mum. When I informed her that there were other open seats for her to take, the woman began to yell. The lady was sent to a different seat by the bus driver. After taking a seat, the woman began using foul language to insult me. The sub-inspector entered the bus and severely beat me when she called to tell them about the dispute I had with some other people.

Anil Kumar, his wife, and a constable were charged with violating sections 290, 323, and 341 of the IPC as a result of a complaint. The top police officers commanded an investigation.
