The highest temperature thus far this season to be recorded in the State was reportedly 46.4 degrees Celsius on wednesday at Julurpad in the kothagudem district. At Garimellapadu in the neighboring mahabubabad district's Bayyaram district, a temperature of 45.4 was registered.
At khanapur in the khammam district, a maximum temperature of 45.4 degrees Celsius was registered.
