As part of the elaborate celebrations being planned to celebrate the 10th State Formation Day, chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao praised the services provided by sanitation workers throughout the State and promised to award the finest among them. Speaking to a gathering of district collectors at the Dr. BR Ambedkar telangana State Secretariat, he emphasised the importance of the services provided by sanitation workers in both rural and urban regions. The theme of the special day set aside for sanitation employees will be "Safayanna Niku Salamanna."

It is impossible to imagine a civilization without sanitation employees. Their assistance is priceless. They have put a lot of effort into maintaining the environment. Their assistance is almost heavenly. According to him, aiding the sanitation employees will also benefit society.

He joked, "Imagine our fate if we are left with overgrown hair and beard for a long time," and emphasised that such services were responsible for the enjoyment of the community.
