A telangana tourist was detained by goa police on friday for recklessly driving on the North goa turtle nesting beach Morjim. The patrolling team on friday morning stopped the guy operating a honda City car with an andhra pradesh registration recklessly risking human life on the protected Morjim beach, according to Siolim Coastal Security police Station.

According to Siolim Coastal Security police, "We then turned the person over to Pernem police, who have already filed a case against him." According to Inspector Sachin Lokre of Pernem police Station, the suspect was detained and then released on bail. He said that Sanyas Yadav, a telangana resident, was the accused. Driving on beaches is highly illegal and will result in harsh action, the confiscation of the car, and the arrest of the driver, according to a warning from the goa Tourism Department.


There have been several incidences in the past where tourists drove their automobiles onto goa beaches and were hit with sand.
