The State government is currently preparing to expand the T-Works idea to support innovators, especially students from rural areas, after expanding IT operations and services to tier II cities and villages. At Raidurgam, the State government built T-Works, the largest prototype plant in India. On march 2 of this year, Foxconn CEO Young Liu officially opened it in the presence of IT minister KT Rama Rao. The facility, which has a surface area of 78,000 square feet, is run by top engineers, designers, and product specialists. The building, which is on a property that spans 4.79 acres, has the potential to grow to 2,40,000 square feet.
Currently, T-Works has facilities for 3D printing, laser cutting, electronics testing, and measuring in addition to metalworking, carpentry, ceramics, and other fabrication techniques. Future capabilities will include the first multi-layer PCB quick fabrication facility in India, vacuum forming and vacuum casting for plastics and composites, high-speed CNC machining, and wallet PLATFORM' target='_blank' title='digital-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>digital cutters.

The T-Works management is working to expand its operations and services to tier II cities in the State in addition to developing its skills in Hyderabad. Accordingly, Warangal, Karimnagar, Nizamabad, Mahabubnagar, and khammam T-Works units are being proposed as well, according to IT and industries Principal Secretary Jayesh Ranjan.

According to him, plans are being made to shut down at least one T-Works unit in one area by the end of this year. "The idea is still in the early stages," he said. Modalities are being developed to establish the new units in partnership with any universities or engineering institutions. By doing so, the cost of establishing a unit would be kept to a minimum, and the labs' infrastructure and amenities would be used to their fullest potential.

The hub-and-spoke model would be used if T-Works were to be expanded to districts. The goal was to assist students and innovators from rural areas with their initiatives. For many people, moving to hyderabad or frequently visiting the city from the suburbs may be difficult. In order to reach districts, T-Works services are being expanded. workers stationed in the new facilities would aid and direct the innovators' efforts. If they needed any high-level assistance, they might visit the campus in hyderabad and pursue their project.
