The Special Investigation Team (SIT) made another arrest in the TSPSC paper leak case on Friday. The suspect, known as Mahabub, was the principal of a private college. He is accused of permitting bulk copying of applicants for the TSPSC exams that were held at the college.

Based on the information given by the earlier detained suspects who were being questioned by the SIT, the police detained him. He was brought in front of the court and placed in protective custody. The results on the forensic examination of the suspects' laptops and cell phones in the TSPSC paper leak case have been provided by the telangana State Forensic Science Laboratory (TSFSL). In the case, the SIT has so far detained 52 people and questioned 130 others. According to officials, there may be 100 arrests.

The total amount of money exchanged in the purchasing and selling of different test papers was Rs.1.63 crore, according to the Special Investigation Team (SIT) looking into the TSPSC paper leak case. After seeking legal counsel, the SIT on friday submitted a preliminary charge sheet in the matter with the local court. Officials informed the court that 49 individuals have currently been detained in connection with the investigation, while one suspect, who is presently residing in New Zealand, is still at large.
