The final period for applying to the intermediate first-year class for the academic year 2023–24 was extended by the telangana State Board of Intermediate education (TS BIE) on saturday to July 25. students may be admitted up until the extended deadline at government, private-aided, private unaided, co-operative, TS residential, social welfare residential, tribal welfare residential, model schools, KGBVs, TMRJC, bc welfare, incentive junior colleges, and composite degree colleges that offer two-year intermediate courses.

Parents and students have been told to only apply to connected colleges for admission. The Board's websites, https://acadtsbie.cgg.gov.in/ and https://tsbie.cgg.gov.in/, both include a list of connected institutions. The first phase admission timetable for intermediate first year courses for the academic year 2022–23 was released by the telangana State Board of Intermediate education (TS BIE) on Thursday.

The admissions process will start on friday with the distribution of application forms, and classes will start on July 11. On august 17, the first wave of admissions will be finished. The Board has instructed all junior college presidents to base admission decisions on online marks memoranda for temporary admissions. Provisional admissions, however, wouldn't be finalised until the authentic SSC pass certificate and transfer certificate issued by the school administration were produced.
