Detailed preparations were to be made before prime minister Narendra Modi's arrival to the state on July 8; this was ordered by officials. A Santhi Kumari, the state's chief secretary, convened a review meeting on wednesday and ordered staff members to follow procedure when the prime minister was there. The chief secretary of state requested the warangal police commissioner A v Ranganath and the director general of police Anjani Kumar to cleanse the helipad area and the place of the public meeting while they were discussing security measures.

On Monday, Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari conducted a video conference with the state's district collectors to discuss the distribution of "Podu pattas" and its progress. Discussion topics included the Gruhalakshmi plan, the situation of fertilisers and seeds, the telangana ku Haritha Haaram programme, financial aid for craftsmen from lower-class communities, the sheep-rearing programme, and the creation of gramme panchayat structures.

The chief secretary highlighted the need to hasten the Podu Patta distribution and finish it by the end of the week since these recipients must get financial aid under the Rythu Bandhu plan during the approaching rainy season. The chief secretary also emphasised the requirement for the podu farmers' bank account information to be uploaded to the Rythu Bandhu site.
