Tomorrow there will be no water in Bangalore all day! Why?

           

Bengaluru Water Supply and Sewerage Board said in a media release that the two pumps of Stage-4 Phase-1 will be shut down immediately from 8 am to 4 pm on July 13 (Thursday) from 8 am to 4 pm as the Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board has taken up the valve repair work at Kengeri Outer Road. And Sewerage Board (BWSSB) said in a media release that two pumps of Stage-4 Phase-1 will be shut down immediately from 8 am to 4 pm on July 13 (Thursday) in the background of Ambedkar college valve repair work on Kengeri Suburban Road.


Due to the repair of two pumps of Stage-4 Phase-1, the water supply will be interrupted throughout the day, and therefore the public has been asked to store as much water as required today.

Rajarajeswarinagar, Kengeri, Vijayanagar, Govindarajanagar, Laggere, Kamakshipalaya, Peenya, Dasarahalli, Jalahalli, Yalahanka, Hebbala, Mahalakshmi Layout, Basaveshwaranagar, Nandini Layout and surrounding areas will be suspended. Therefore, the Bengaluru Jalmandal has informed in a release that the public should make other arrangements for Jalmandal water tomorrow or collect as much water as required today.

 A Water Adalat has been organized on Thursday, July 13 from 9.30 am to 11 am to resolve issues related to the water bill, delay in the connection of water and sewerage, delay in conversion from domestic use to non-domestic use, and other major deficiencies in Jalmandal sub-divisions. Complaints can be made by calling the board's helpline 1916 regarding Kundu shortages. In addition, a complaint can be submitted through whatsapp number 87622 28888, the Jalmandali release said.
