What is the 'Madhav' equation of bjp in Maharashtra...?
assembly elections are going to be held in maharashtra in the year 2024. All the parties have intensified their preparations regarding this election. On the one hand, the opposition alleges that the bjp has created a divide in the ncp to benefit itself in the lok sabha and assembly elections. On the other hand, the bharatiya janata party has also made a special strategy to defeat the Mahavikas Aghadi. According to this strategy, the bjp is preparing to use the madhav formula of the 80s to ensure its victory in the elections. The madhav (मधव) formula means Ma- Mali, Dha- Dhangar and Va- Vanjari (Banjara).
In fact, on the basis of numbers, maharashtra has the largest number of maratha and OBC castes and madhav comes under this OBC community. Marathas are more than 31 percent in this state, while the same OBCs are divided into 356 sub-castes. The bjp is currently working on a strategy to bring both these communities into its fold.
bjp trying to please the madhav community
Madhav belongs to the OBC community. To please them, the name of Ahmednagar has been changed to Ahilyanagar. It has also been announced to name Baramati government Medical college after Ahilya Devi Holkar.
