Former chief minister of maharashtra and present deputy chief minister of the state DevendraFadnavishas a birthday on 22 July. He has turned 53 on his birthday. DevendraFadnavis's political achievements are many in the journey from being a member of BJP's student wing AkhilBharatiyaVidyarthiParishad to becoming the youngest mayor of nagpur, then being appointed bjp state president and then becoming the chief minister and deputy chief minister of the state.

DevendraFadnavis was born in a Marathi Hindu family living in nagpur, Maharashtra. His father's name is GangadharFadnavis and mother's name is SaritaFadnavis. father GangadharFadnavis served as a member of maharashtra Legislative Council from nagpur and mother was former director of Vidarbha Housing Credit Society.

Left Indira Convent school when father went to jail

fadnavis did his early education from Indira Convent, a school named after the then prime minister Indira Gandhi. During the Emergency, Fadnavis's father was also jailed for being a member of the Jana Sangh and participating in protests against the government. On this, fadnavis refused to study in Indira Convent.

He did not want to go to the school named after the prime minister whom he held responsible for his father's imprisonment. After this he studied at SaraswatiVidyalaya in Nagpur. For higher secondary education, he had enrolled in Dharampeth junior College.
