Shivakumar conducted a site inspection of various development projects in Sarvajnanagar assembly Constituency. Despite the rain, Sarvajna visited Sevanagar Overpass, Banasavadi Lake, Kacharkanahallikere, and Hennur Bande of nagar Constituency and inspected. On this occasion, local mla and State Energy minister K.J. George and officials were present.

First visited the OMBR pump house and reviewed the blueprint of the work and got information from the officials. Gave the necessary notice. Later visited Banasavadi Lake and got information about its development work. Officials informed that the lake which had an area of 47 acres, now only some 17 acres remain as a lake and the rest of the land has been laid out. He got information that this lake is being developed and a park is being built next to the lake.

Later visited Kacharkanahalli Lake. In this case, an order has come from the court to relocate the slum area around the lake and reclaim the lake space. There are 450 families in slum areas. A lake has been developed here and a view park and a stadium have been constructed next to it. As of now, the basic works have been taken up. DPR approval has been obtained from Lake Development Authority for this project. No grant was received from them.

As this comes under the purview of BBMP, the officials requested that more funds should be given by the corporation for further work. When Sivakumar asked if he had found land for the relocation of the slum dwellers, he said, "We had earlier discussed with the local MLAs and earmarked four acres near KR Puram. But now only one acre of land is left there. For now, we have to get it and get the remaining three or four acres and relocate them." George informed.

Visited Hennur Bande. There is some encroachment on 29 acres of land here. He put a proposal before the minister that a park should be constructed in the remaining space. Responding to the media on this occasion, Sivakumar said that the traffic problem in Sarvajna nagar constituency was inspected today, and the construction of the flyover. Officials have submitted a proposal regarding the construction of a park in the lake area.

The previous government had canceled the works which had been sanctioned earlier. Now again they have requested to save the government property and provide convenience to the public. Before deciding on this, I and the minister personally came and checked. Document verification of BDA, BBMP, and Lake Development Authority has been done. He said that the development program will be carried out after taking the opinion of the MLAs and the public.
