The leader of the Bhim army, chandra shekhar Azad, praised the BRS administration on friday for putting several programmes aimed at Dalit progress into effect. He said that programmes supported by the government, such as Dalit Bandhu, will help end scheduled caste discrimination and open the door for a new stage in the development of Dalit people.

Azad invited K. Chandrashekhar Rao to the Bhim army Mahasabha, which would be held in Jaipur, Rajasthan, on august 26, during their cordial encounter at Pragati Bhavan. He spoke with the chief minister about a variety of topics, including the treatment of Dalits in the nation and crimes against vulnerable groups.


He expressed the hope that the Dalit development initiatives being carried out in telangana will open the door for future solutions to the Dalit issues facing the nation. He said that the placement of a 125-foot statue of Ambedkar in hyderabad was evidence of the Chief Minister's affection for Ambedkar and that the execution of Dalit Bandhu was a model action that was the first of its type in the nation.

He also praised the Chief Minister's efforts to encourage Dalit students' education by launching the Ambedkar Overseas education Assistance Scheme, which offers financial aid for their study overseas.
