Delhi: A group of "India" MPs has reached the capital city Imphal after leaving Manipur by plane to inspect the field situation in Manipur and give recommendations to the government.
In Manipur, there is violence between two communities, Maithei and Kuki tribes. Due to this a tense situation is happening in Manipur. During the violence, 2 women were stripped naked, brought in a procession and raped. This incident which took place 78 days ago has now come to light.

A person has been arrested for recording the incident on video. Cell phone has been confiscated from him. The central government has filed an affidavit in the supreme court seeking an order to investigate the case outside Manipur.
Talks between the two communities were held separately to bring peace in the state. In Manipur, only minor incidents of conflict are occurring. According to the central government, there has been no loss of life in the riots since the 18th.
35,000 security forces have been deployed in Manipur. It has been said that food and medicine pills are available without any hindrance and the situation is slowly returning to normal there. The central government has said that religious issues are not the cause of the incidents in Manipur, and has said that the fingerprints of people migrating from Myanmar are being registered and the work of building a wire fence along the Myanmar border has been accelerated.
