During the forthcoming Monsoon Session of assembly on august 3, the congress would stop at nothing to overthrow the in power BRS. The congress MLAs are requesting a 30-day session in order to draw attention to the BRS government's shortcomings, particularly in regards to the rescue of flood victims, where more than 40 people died and significant crop damage occurred across 20 lakh acres, resulting in an estimated loss of Rs 5,000 crore.

The congress will also pay attention to matters like the government's commitments to a KG to PG education system, two-bedroom homes, jobs, and financial aid for young people without work. They would also express worries over Class X and TSPSC exam paper leaks. Despite the finances and new initiatives that the BRS administration has announced, such as the merger of TSRTC into the government and the provision of two-bedroom homes and loan exemptions for farmers, the congress MLAs want to put pressure on chief minister K. chandrasekhar Rao by alleging him of making false promises.

The congress party has engaged election observers to supervise the election preparations for the following assembly elections in 2023 in light of the impending assembly elections in five crucial states later this year.
