The Hyderabad-Nagpur highway section between Baswapur in Bhiknoor Mandal and Sadashivanagar in kamareddy district is littered with potholes, making travel on it more hazardous. Vehicle drivers continue to cause numerous accidents because they are unable to avoid these potholes. Motorists claim that NHAI officials who collect road tolls from drivers don't seem interested in making the repairs.

NH 44 begins in the undivided mahabubnagar district of telangana and finishes at the district of adilabad on the maharashtra border. Numerous passenger and commercial vehicles use the roadway.
