On Thursday, farmers and elected officials around the State celebrated chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao's decision to enact a comprehensive crop debt waiver for farmers. On Thursday, farmers and the BRS cadre staged celebrations around the State as lawmakers rushed to greet the chief minister in his chambers in the State Legislative Assembly.

With several initiatives, such as Rythu Bandhu and Rythu Bima, the chief minister has established a new standard for farmers' welfare. The State administration has received an overwhelmingly positive reaction since making the decision to undertake the full forgiveness of agricultural loans. In the State Legislature, minister-led delegations of MLAs, MLCs, and other public representatives came to the Chief Minister's chambers and gave Chandrashekhar Rao flower bouquets in appreciation of his kindness on behalf of the farmers.

The chief minister was informed by the parliamentarians that farmers' families were rejoicing at the time all throughout the State. They applauded the State administration for once again supporting the farmers who are unable to pay off their growing debts. Celebrations were planned by farmers, farmers' associations, Rythu Bandhu Samithis, and BRS cadre. They carried out 'Palabhishekam' on the Chief Minister's image and held large rallies to express their gratitude.
