Imran jailed in bug infested jail cell..!?

Former prime minister Imran Khan was kept in a 9*11 feet room. It's full of maggots and the toilet stinks. The pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party (PTI) has alleged that Pakistan's former prime minister Imran Khan, who was sentenced to 3 years in prison in the case of illegally selling gifts to the prime minister, was kept in a prison cell reserved for terrorists. Therefore, the party requested the court to immediately transfer him to a jail cell with superior facilities. Leaders of Imran's PTI party, who have submitted a petition to the Islamabad High court, said, 'Imran, who is also a former prime minister, has been given a 'B' class cell in the jail. 9*11 feet wide room with poor standard of comfort. The toilet smells unclean. Such a dark room with worm-eaves is usually reserved for extremists. Jail authorities treated the former prime minister like a criminal and kept him in the most cramped barracks. Therefore, they have requested that they should be given a high-class room immediately.

In the petition, it has been requested that an 'A' class room with newspaper, TV, table, chair, bed, teapot, own clothes and food should be given to him in accordance with the dignity of the former prime minister and kept away from other inmates. Meanwhile, Imran did not get a fair hearing in the gift case. Thus, the PTI party has applied to the supreme court to order a fresh trial in the case.

Toshakhana is a department that stores gifts received by people in government positions in Pakistan. Imran Khan, who became the prime minister in 2018, did not give information about the gifts received by him. Later he himself wrote to the election commission and admitted that he had sold at least four gifts. But he also said that he had bought these gifts by giving money to the government. The election commission and the ruling PML-N party filed a complaint against this and complained that Imran was covering up the issue and many others had made money by selling foreign gifts. Among the gifts Imran sold were a graph watch from the Saudi king, Rolex watches, expensive cufflinks, pens and rings.
