In view of the 77th Independence Day celebrations, multi-layered security arrangements have been completely strengthened in the capital delhi, including the red Fort, the historic venue. Various security agencies including the Special Protection Group (SPG), National Security Guard (NSG) and delhi Police have taken over their respective responsibilities. Where the internal responsibility of security has been assigned to the SPG, NSG, delhi Police, army Commandos, Para Military Force personnel etc. have been deployed at different levels.
While the ground-level security has been handed over to the brave jawans, DRDO has been deployed to thwart any aerial attack, along with the entry drone radar system has also been activated. Which can shoot down any drone in the air within a radius of about four kilometres. Apart from this, in view of the threat of terrorist attacks, commandos have also been deployed on army helicopters equipped with state-of-the-art weapons. Face recognition system will identify terrorists and suspects
With the aim of making the security system better and stricter, for the first time, Israeli software cameras will keep an eye on the suspects. Every part of the red Fort will be monitored by cameras equipped with an Automatic Face Recognition System (FRC) with Israeli software to monitor every part of the red Fort. A total of 550 cameras equipped with face recognition systems, including entry and exit gates, have been installed in the red Fort.
