As per report Mauganj has become the 53rd district of Madhya Pradesh. The Revenue Department has also issued an order for the
formation of the district on Sunday. collector SP has also been posted in Mauganj district, which was carved out of
Rewa. Woman IAS sonia meena has been made the first collector of Mauganj. At the same time, virendra kumar Jain
has become the first SP. Other officers will also be appointed this week. Let us inform that this district has been formed
by combining three tehsils of Mauganj, Hanumana and Nai Garhi. Its headquarter will be Mauganj.
cm Shivraj had announced the new district
Madhya Pradesh chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had announced to make Mauganj a new district in March. CM
Shivraj had announced on march 4, 2023 that the national flag would be hoisted in the new district on august 15. After
this, on april 6, a preliminary notification for the formation of the new district was issued and claims or objections were
invited on it.
After resolving the objections, on last Friday, the Revenue Department had sent a proposal for formation of new district
and creation of other posts including collector. After approval on this, on Sunday, the Revenue Department issued an
order for the formation of a new district.
Nagda will also soon become a district
Mauganj will be formed with the publication in the Gazette. Huzur, Huzurnagar, Jawa, Tyondhar, Raipur, Karchulian,
Gurh, Sirmour, Semaria and Manganwa tehsils will remain in Rewa district. According to the information given by the
officials, after this the process of making Nagda a district will also be started soon, because cm Shivraj Singh Chouhan
has announced to make Nagda a district last month.
