Due to maintenance work, there will be a 30-hour water service interruption in several areas of the city from 6 a.m. on august 19 to 12 p.m. on august 20, the hyderabad Metropolitan Water service and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) announced on Wednesday. For Manjeera Water Supply Phase 2, junction work is being done for the 1,500 mm dia MS pipeline from Kalabgoor to patancheru and from patancheru to Hydernagar.

The work being done at this intersection by the roads and buildings department is intended to ensure that traffic will not be hampered by ongoing flyover construction near BHEL Crossroads. Ashoknagar, Jyotinagar, Lingampally, Chandanagar, Gangaram, Deepthi Srinagar, Madinaguda, Miyapur, Beeramguda, and ameenpur will all experience partial to complete water supply interruptions during these 30 hours. According to a water board official warning, users in the impacted areas should use water prudently.

In some areas of the city, the supply of drinking water will be cut off for 30 hours starting at 6 am on august 19. Erragadda, SR Nagar, Ameerpet, KPHB Colony, Kukatpally, Moosapet, and jagathgiri gutta are among the locations that have been impacted. Additionally, till 12 p.m. on august 20, water service will be cut off in RC Puram, ashok Nagar, Miyapur, Lingampally, Chanda Nagar, Deepthisri Nagar, Madinaguda, Beeramguda, and Ameenpur.

The Manjeera Water Supply Phase-2 junction works have been taken up by the hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB). Repair work is being done on the 1500mm Dia MS pipeline that runs from Kalabgoor to Patancheruvu and from Patencheruvu to Hydernagar.
