The telangana High court asked the state government and the petitioners on wednesday to develop a comprehensive strategy notwithstanding their divergent views on demolishing the deteriorated osmania general hospital structure. Both patients and physicians must wear helmets in this circumstance, Chief Justice Alok Aradhe said.

The bench was handling a group of five PILs, some of which asked the court to order the state government to tear down the current hospital facility and erect new ones. Other petitioners, however, have objected to the plan since a historic building was going to be torn down. The government's attorney notified the court that the expert's committee had submitted a status report on the building's structural strength and recommendations on July 27. As the advocate general will be presenting the matter, the counsel requested more time.

The government must submit its argument over the status report, under the Chief Justice's directive, and the court will then determine the date of the final hearing. The government had two weeks to submit counterclaims. Chief Justice Alok Aradhe observed that it is a situation where doctors and patients have to wear helmets. Stay tuned with us.
