On Saturday, chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao expressed his joy at the telugu film industry's bounty of national prizes at the 69th National Film Awards. He praised allu arjun, a well-known actor from tollywood who had won his first national award for best actor. The chief minister remarked that it was an honor that a telugu hero had earned the accolade for the first time in the last 60 years.

The chief minister noted that allu arjun had captivated national and international audiences by showcasing his high standard of acting as a hero in numerous films. He added that allu arjun carried on the legacy of his grandfather and legendary actor allu ramalingaiah and emerged as a great actor on his own, drawing inspiration from actor Chiranjeevi. allu arjun was the first telugu actor to win the award for best actor for his performance in the film "Pushpa."

The chief minister also expressed his joy at chandra bose winning the National Award for the Best cinema songs. chandra bose, an oscar winner, is credited with bringing international attention to telugu cinema songs via his imaginative writing. He thanked chandra bose for his accomplishment.


The best film critics Purushottamacharyulu, Devi Sri Prasad, Kalabhairava, and the producers, directors, performers, and technical crew of the films that won the national awards in various categories were also thanked by the chief minister. He claimed that the fact that hyderabad served as the center for the telugu film industry's national and international talent showcase was a momentous occasion.

"It is a great accomplishment for all of us that telugu cinema stood as a role model for the country in film production by winning the hearts of the audiences not only in the telugu States but also at the national and international level," he added.


The telugu film industry competing with Hyderabad-based indian cinema, with the assistance and encouragement of the State government, made the chief minister happy. He promised the sector that the State government will continue to extend its support for the growth of the film industry and expressed the hope that telugu cinema would be able to spread its wings internationally.
