A Cybercrime Sub Inspector (SI) has been taken into custody by the hyderabad Narcotics Enforcement Wing (H-NEW) and Raidurgam police for drug possession at his residence. The suspect was revealed to be Rajendra, a SI from the 2009 class. Rajendra is now employed with the Cyberabad police Commissionerate as a Cybercrime SI. Rajendra recently took part in a special operation in Maharashtra, where he allegedly found a significant amount of narcotics. He retained the seized narcotics in his home, but he did not present them to the court.

Rajendra was terminated from his position. He then went to the court and obtained a stay of proceedings.
