From sunday night to monday morning, moderate to heavy rainfall were recorded in several areas of the former adilabad district, breaking a protracted dry period and celebrating farmers. The district of nirmal received 84.1 mm of rain on average. With 122.2 mm, Mudhole mandal got the most rainfall, followed by Kaddampeddur mandal with 113 mm. In comparison to the district's usual rainfall of 757 mm, the actual rainfall was 1079 mm, a 42 percent surplus.

The Kumram bheem asifabad district saw an average rainfall of 51.4 mm. The maximum rainfall was 69 millimetres in Wankidi Mandal. When compared to the district's average rainfall of 877 mm, the actual rainfall was 917 mm, a five percent variation. In the districts of mancherial and adilabad, the average annual rainfall was 46.6 mm and 41.9 mm, respectively.

The rains have encouraged farmers of both paddy and cotton, who are hoping they would hasten the growth of the transplanted paddy seedlings and the cotton crops that have bloomed. The district's actual rainfall was 799 mm as against the normal rainfall of 749 mm, indicating an excess by 7 percent. The average rainfall of adilabad was 33.8 mm. Neradigonda mandal registered the highest rainfall of 69 mm followed by Boath mandal which had 44.4 mm of rainfall. The actual rainfall of the district was 897 mm as against the normal rainfall of 735.7 mm from june 1 to august 20, reflecting an excess by 22 percent.
