Banks will be closed for 4 days next week. Note the date before you go to the bank branch. If you have any bank related work next week, finish it today. Banks will be closed in many cities next week due to Vinayaka Chaturthi (Ganesh Chaturthi 2023).

Bank holiday list is published by RBI every month so that employees and customers do not face any problem. Next week we will see which days in which cities banks will not operate. According to the list published by Reserve bank, a total of 16 banks have been given holiday in the month of September.


This includes saturday and sunday holidays. We tell you that next week the 17th is sunday, the banks will be closed. Apart from this, banks are closed in various cities on september 18, 19 and september 20 on the occasion of Vinayaka Chaturthi. List of bank holidays can be seen below.

September 17, 2023- sunday, a weekly holiday (banks across the country are closed on this day).

September 18, 2023 - Banks will remain closed in karnataka and telangana on the occasion of Vinayaka Chaturthi.

September 19, 2023 - Banks will remain closed on Vinayaka Chaturthi in Gujarat, Maharashtra, orissa, tamil Nadu and Goa.

September 20, 2023 - Banks will be closed in orissa and goa due to Vinayaka Chaturthi (second day) and Nuvakai.

22 september 2023- Banks will be closed in Kochi, Panaji and thiruvananthapuram on Narayana Guru Samadhi Day.

23 september 2023- Banks across the country will be closed due to fourth Saturday.

24th september 2023- Banks across the country will remain closed due to Sunday.

25 september 2023- bank holiday in guwahati on the occasion of Shrimantha Sankardev's birthday.

27 september 2023- Banks will be closed in Jammu, Kochi, srinagar and thiruvananthapuram due to Milad-e-Sharif.

28 september 2023- Due to Eid-e-Milad, banks will be closed in Ahmedabad, Aizawl, Belapur, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chennai, Dehradun, telangana, Imphal, Kanpur, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Raipur, Ranchi.

29 september 2023- Banks will be closed in Gangtok, Jammu and srinagar on Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi.

Online facilities can be availed.


Banks are closed on festive days. But you can use online facilities. With mobile net banking customers can sit at home and do their work, but in such a situation, you may face problem while withdrawing money from ATM, so customers should complete their banking related work in this week. You still have until saturday this week.
