According to Transport minister Puvvada ajay Kumar, IT and Municipal Administration minister KT Rama Rao was slated to visit the khammam district on september 30 to lay the cornerstones for construction projects worth Rs. 1266 crore. On Saturday, the minister presented beneficiaries of the 5th, 7th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, 20th, 32nd, 37th, 38th, 47th, and 48th divisions of the khammam Municipal Corporation with sanction orders for Gruha lakshmi homes.

Speaking to a crowd, ajay Kumar announced that an extra 1,000 Gruha lakshmi homes had been approved for the khammam assembly seat, bringing the total number of Gruha lakshmi homes approved in the area to 4,000. Housing for the city's underprivileged parts has cost the telangana government Rs 240 crore. The minister said that Rs 20 crore was spent on 2, 000 double-bedroom homes and Rs 120 crore on the Gruha lakshmi Scheme.

He explained that under GO 58, around 5,000 low-income residents of the city will receive assignment pattas totaling Rs 250 crore. Every qualifying impoverished person would benefit from the Gruha lakshmi Scheme, which was an ongoing procedure. district Collector VP gautham stated that khammam district was leading the way in the implementation of GO 58 and that khammam was the first district in the State to begin distributing Gruha lakshmi Scheme sanction orders to the beneficiaries.

Ajay Kumar spoke at an Athmeeya Sammelan earlier in the day that was held at the city's VDO's Colony and was sponsored by a BRS leader named sridhar Chekuri. Speaking at the event, the minister stressed the need of supporting the BRS in the next assembly elections. The BRS should take office in order to carry out new development projects as well as current ones. The minister urged voters to back chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao in the polls.
