RJD mp Manoj Jha is embroiled in controversy after reading Kuna Thakur Ka during the women’s reservation
bill in Rajya Sabha. Opposition to Manoj Jha has started within RJD itself. anand Mohan, father of RJD MLA
Chetan anand, has talked about pulling out Manoj Jha’s tongue. RJD mla from Sheohar chetan Anand has also
targeted Manoj Jha. anand said that it is wrong to target any one caste in the name of socialism. Thakur society
takes everyone along. If we had been in the House, we would not have allowed Manoj Jha to speak like this.
Anand has also challenged Jha to remove the title from his name. Along with RJD, bjp has also attacked Manoj
Jha. bjp mla Neeraj Bablu said that if someone had insulted the Rajput community in front of me in the
House, I would have broken his face.
Bablu has also raised questions on RJD’s A to Z politics. Lalu Yadav also jumped in at the end of this political
conflict that continued for 5 days. Supporting Manoj Jha, Lalu said that his statement has not insulted any
society. RJD supremo described Manoj Jha as a learned man. Lalu supported Manoj Jha, but did not openly say
anything about anand Mohan's opposition.
What did Manoj Jha say in Parliament?
Lalu Yadav's party RJD had authorized Manoj Jha to speak in the rajya sabha on the Women's Reservation Bill
in the special session. Manoj Jha raised questions on not giving quota to women from OBC and Muslim
community in women's reservation. Jha said that only upper caste women will benefit from such reservation. Jha
also reiterated Lalu Yadav's words during this time and said parliament should not make mistakes in taking
historic decisions. Jha had read a poem by Omprakash Valmiki Thakur Ka Kuan, taking a jibe at the
government bill. While reading the poem in parliament, Manoj Jha said- I have only used it as a symbol. He said
that this Thakur is sitting in parliament, court and University, who needs to be eliminated. During this time, Jha
had talked about being a Thakur within himself.
