Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath has called upon the people of the state to pay clean tribute to
bapu on the occasion of the 154th birth anniversary of father of the Nation mahatma Gandhi. In a high-level
meeting on Friday, cm Yogi reviewed the preparations for the 1-hour cleanliness shramdaan program on
october 1 and gave necessary guidelines. During this, cm Yogi said that with public cooperation, PM Narendra
Modi's vision of garbage-free india will be realized.
At present, today there will be a special meeting of officials in all urban bodies, gram panchayats, area
panchayats and district panchayats for Swachhanjali. According to the orders of cm Yogi, on october 1,
children of basic and secondary schools will take out a morning procession and give the message of 'Cleanliness
is Service. Let us inform that on the 154th birth anniversary of father of the Nation mahatma gandhi, the 154-
hour special cleanliness campaign is continuing successfully.
people of all classes will take responsibility in Shramdaan
According to the instructions of cm Yogi Adityanath, keeping in mind the cleanliness, along with creating
public awareness about the banned polythene, enforcement action is also being taken. According to the
instructions of the cm, participation of public representatives, businessmen, NGOs, social, cultural
organizations, self-help groups, RWAs and civil organizations has been ensured in Shramdaan.
