Adivasi-Girijana Sangala was used as the moniker in anti-Maoist flyers. Residents of the agency villages of Veerabhadrapuram, Palem, and Pathrapuram in the venkatapuram mandal of the mulugu district experienced terror on monday as a result of Ikya Vedika. "We do not want the Maoist party and let us live our lives," the flyers said. The agency communities were concerned about how the outlaws would respond if they found out about the flyers.

Members of the people's association said that police officers were responsible for the flyers that appeared in the villages under the guise of Adivasi organisations and alarmed the locals. Earlier this week, ramagundam CP Rema Rajeswari, mulugu SP Gouse Alam, OSD ashok Kumar, and other police officers from other Maoist-affected districts attended a coordination conference hosted by Jayashankar bhupalpally district superintendent of police Pulla Karunakar.

At the discussion, it was addressed what precautions should be taken in Maoist-affected regions before the 2018 assembly elections. The district police officers also made the decision to cooperate in order to increase surveillance on the Maoists' and their sympathisers' movements by exchanging information. watch out this space for more updates in this regard.
